Ingredients
- 2 large sweet onions (like Vidalia), chopped into bite-size chunks
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Oil for deep frying

Instructions

- Remove onions from buttermilk, toss in seasoned flour until well coated.

- Drain on paper towels and season with a pinch of salt.
Make the Sauce:
- Whisk all dipping sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth.
- Chill for 10 minutes before serving with hot bites.
